The Wounding of the Mavericks

Maverick - 1. Southwestern U.S. an unbranded calf, cow, or steer, esp. an unbranded calf that is separated from its mother.2. a lone dissenter, as an intellectual, an artist, or a politician, who takes an independent stand apart from his or her associates.

It's time for the mavericks to come in to alignment. For too long you have sat in the backdrop, unhappy and unsatisfied with what you have seen from God's church. You have not settled for the country club way of life. You KNOW deep down inside that God intended for a battleship. He is calling you back.. to take your post, to take your position as a part of the crew.

The cruise liner and popularity contest is over. Come now, the kingdom is at hand. Take hold of your place.. get prepared to stand.

Your time alone with Him, has made you able to endure..
Your time alone with Him, will keep you strong & secure
Your time alone with Him, is why you must go back
You have been formed, molded, and designed
& now you are free from the fear of man
That is what it's going to take, if you are going to stand.

Get back in the Race~
Get ready to take your place~
The Glory Reign is coming.

The Parable of the Snake

Once upon a time there was a serpent who was badly injured in a fight with another animal. It managed to slither away to safety but would have surely died if a benevolent man had not seen it suffering by the side of the road. The goodly man carefully wrapped the snake up and took it to his house, where he bestowed the kindest and gentlest care on the snake until it was healed and could return to the wild. Just as the man was releasing the serpent back into the grass, the ungrateful snake turned and bit him on the hand. "What did you do that for?" cried the man, who knew that the bite of this particular snake was usually fatal. "Didn't I take care of you when no one else would?" The snake shrugged (no small feat for a snake!) and replied to the benevolent--and now doomed-- man, "What did you expect? You knew I was a snake when you picked me up."
