I just found out my dad died

I got the call today. Numbing I have 2 days to come up with $1000.00, leave the country, claim his body and my inheritance before a woman who he married 2 years ago and only lived with for 2 weeks completes her con. Intensely numbing. Praying

This is the post that got me kicked out of a church last year. . I still stand by it.

These are the kind of posts that leads to defamation of character! Count the cost and STAND! From: Cher Loves, Forgives and speaks Blessings on E. T. Date: Nov 29, 2007 12:52 PM Subject: Ninety-Five Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Church - Body: Martin Luther declared that "by grace are we saved not by works", that salvation was attainable only by faith in Jesus as the Messiah, a faith unmediated by the church. Grace is a standard doctrine today. Thank you Martin for your stand. Our NEXT stage of development is in the area of FREEDOM!!! Gal 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Despite what many may think; walking in FREEDOM.. is NOT equivalent to walking in Rebellion. It is very clear that the church's role has boundaries . It is necessary for any healthy church to only instruct and correct in the areas of black and white based on biblical truth.(Please note: black ...

When Smoke and Mirrors Become the Basis of Reality

When I worked as sushi restaurant manager, I had to be all smiles and develop a "regular customer" base. I remember how shallow it felt. Even though part of me wanted to know the people, I knew I NEVER really would. But it was my JOB to make them feel welcome and like I really cared about their lives and their families and it became my "job" to know all about them. However, when I quit the job and started working in accounting at my current place of employment; I did not stay in touch with anyone, nor was it expected that I should. None of it was REALLY real. It was just business and marketing. I wonder sometimes if this is how a minister feels. He has to develop regular "customers" too, doesn't he? How much of ministry is a "job" and how much of it is an actual connection between believers? When I see people "in the ministry", I often catch myself wondering if I should really bother being friends with them, or will the relationship b...

Working Late

I've been here for over 12 hours now. Alone in the office building. And at least another 2 hours of work in front of me. How do I feel? VERY alone. No one to care if I stay up late. No one to bring me a cup of coffee. No one cheering me on. Alone. Now I know... For every niche, there is loneliness. The more responsible I get.. the less I have around me to share the responsibility. Responsibility... A hard word to swallow. For me, it's the biggest word of my life. God has given me MUCH to care for.. SO MUCH. I am beginning to understand the race now. I am beginning to understand that often when we push for a higher place.. we have to sacrifice a lower life. No buddies, no drinking, no partying, no dating, no ease... pressing, pressing, pressing.. to be a better person than my mother.. and set a higher platform for my children to leap from. Loneliness is a small price to pay for such a goal. Right?

Sneak Peek in to Me.

What an awesome arm bar!! How is it, after watching UFC ultimate fighting for 3 hours just to pass time and can't wait until the lightweight championship between Phillipe and Efrain comes on, finally the match begins... and the roommate comes and wants to talk about groceries... grrr... She picks on me for being more like her husband than a woman. I have no idea why I have such seemingly masculine characteristics. But I can see where she is coming from. I work and provide, pay all the bills and groceries. I would rather think to myself than talk alot of small talk. I love Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and mixed martial arts (even though I am just a white belt). I also play the trumpet and was never drawn to the flute and reed instruments. And have hated stockings and dresses ALL MY LIFE. I like my music to be hard and heavy. I like short hair over long and generally would rather be alone than be bossed around by a man. All I know is, I had 3 husbands all complain about the same thing, my bei...

Triplets

Last Night I dreamt of triplets. 2 were strong and healthy, but one was small, weak and deformed. The 3 stayed together constantly. The stronger one would carry the weaker. They prayed together often and were a powerful team that could not be separated. Then something changed. While in a raft in the water. The stronger 2 would go out in to the water to swim and rescue people. The weaker one became angry and jealous about the abilities of the stronger brothers. He started throwing black cables at his brothers trying to drown them. The brothers were startled at first but then began to realize that the 3rd brother had turned on them. They began to swim away to find another raft. The deformed brother began attacking the healthy brothers through dark methods. He would use other people's eyes to see them and find them; and invade the bodies of other people to use them to attack the healthy brothers. The sad part of the dream was that the healthy brothers continued to love the deformed tr...

I can't get up that tree!

So many things have been passing through my mind lately. I have found myself detached from normal life. Accepting my place, accepting my race. Running alone. It's not easy. I have finally reached a point in my life... Just as a woman who can not conceive a child without miscarrying That I am tired of looking at other people's family photos and feeling pain. I will not have the "perfect" image of family in my life. I will not have a husband to share living with. After 3 miscarried marriages... I throw in the towel. I quit and I accept the oddness of it. The freakish nature of single motherhood. Don't think I can't feel people wondering "how I do it?" Or people wondering what's wrong with me for failing 3 times. Or people just being disgusted that I "bailed out" on marriage s . I have no idea why my first husband turned away from me and toward drugs. I have no idea why my second husband fell in love with my best friend. I have no idea why...

Paradigm Shift

Friday Night I was awoken by my 5 year old son. He asked me if I wanted to hear a secret. I said sure. He told me that the "moon follows the sun but the star stays still"; then he closed his eyes and fell asleep. I made a mental note to NEVER forget what he said and have been spending the past few days pondering over it. It's a pretty heavy thing for a 5 year old to say. To my knowledge, he knows nothing about navigation and the North Star; but that is immediately what I thought of. I wonder what he was trying to tell me? Or what God was trying to tell him. It's a mystery I am looking forward to unraveling. Even this morning during worship, I was struck by it. I saw the moon chasing the sun like a woman chasing after a lover and never capturing it. Then I saw a star, that was whole, in need of nothing in order to have it's own light; independent and not moved by the things of this world; not moved by the race for time; not moved by the race for companionship; not ...

It's in the little things

Last night my daughter called just as I was getting off of work. A group of friends were going to go ice skating and she wanted to borrow the van to go. I love her friends and saw no problem with her going. As I continued my commute home, it began to be apparent that I would not be getting home any time soon. The traffic was at Katrina levels. Why didn't I account for the fact that holiday travelers would be heading to their Thanksgiving destination. That, accompanied by multiple sirens, pushed me to the heavy decision of calling my daughter back to tell her that I did not want her out on the roads tonight. I knew she would be very disappointed. I decided I would do my best to make it a family night at home. I had reserved a movie at redbox and was SLOWLY heading there to pick it up. When I finally arrived, the redbox terminal I had scheduled for the pick up was out of service. Oh, bother... on a holiday day..all the good movies are usually snagged. I went to the next location clos...

My job

This $235 Million dollar project is being built by only 29 people (of which I am one) and until recently, I was the only female employee. 19 Operators 3 Office Personnel 3 Marketing Personnel & 4 Principals This little speck of land has several caverns underneath it (4 football fields deep & 250' wide each) that will be supplying natural gas to the entire nation, and has already begun. It is no small thing when I wrap my mind around it. It amazes me how MUCH so few people can do when working together. The strain, stress and accountability is overbearing most of the time. But how could I possibly quit now? Or could I? Some days it literally hurts to be here. But what will happen when we convert our fuel from oil dependence to Natural Gas independence. That in itself would radically transform my life!

A Bounce Back Person

A bounce-back person sees adversity and every setback not as permanent, but temporary. It’s not going to last forever. Every difficulty that comes your way, you can be encouraged by it, knowing that you’re going to come out better than you were before. Why is that? Because it is in our DNA. God created us and intends us to walk in the same power which raised Christ from the dead, that same overcoming power and attitude that even the grave can’t keep down.>> Studies prove that during a hurricane, a palm tree will simply stretch and not break from the strong winds. It’s bent and pushed over, and all the while, it’s root system is actually being strengthened and given new opportunities for growth. That is the same way we were built to be. It even says in Psalm 92:12, “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree.” That means God knew there would be difficult times in our lives, that things would come against us, trying to steal our joy, peace and victory. He’s not surprised by our d...
As I was sitting with Jesus and spending time with Him. Loving Him, devoted to Him, Giving my life to Him.. He brought me a precious jewel. A phone call from an old acquaintance that had lost her home and everything she owned a year ago and after bouncing from place to place was facing being homeless with her son. I invited her to stay with me. I was given the opportunity to care for a woman and child, feed them, put a roof over their heads, and give them a peaceful place to rest. . but most importantly show them the love of Jesus Christ. After 2 months, she gave her life to the Lord and her son LOVES going to church. He is the first one up on Sunday mornings. Even though I am a single mom that works LONG hours to meet my family's needs and provide paycheck to paycheck; Jesus shows me what it means to be truly RICH. So many of us work long hours and it is easy to feel frustrated that we can't get out enough to minister in the streets and by ways. But the truth is workplace mini...

The Left Foot of Fellowship... sigh

Last week when I went to see Kim Clement in Huntsville, I ran in to some of the members of my previous church. I came in late and the row with available seats sat me right in front of a couple that were once my dearest friends. I would visit them at their home often. They would watch Caleb for me a couple of times and we even had Thanksgiving together a couple of years ago. When I saw them my heart reached out to hug them and love them. I miss them so much. Instead of being happy to see me, the reception I received from them was nothing less than horrified. The look of shock was noticeably pronounced in their eyes when I turned around to greet them. THEN when I went to hug them; immediately the husband stuck his hand out to shake mine. I looked down at his hand and said "what is this, I can't hug you?" He said, "NO!" But (something came over me) I grabbed the top of his shoulders with both my hands and pulled his head down to speak in to his ear. I said, "B...

Out of the Mouth of Babes

Yesterday my 11 year old told me. "Mom, you need a date." It's pretty sad when your own kid starts to feel sorry for you and become sad at the thought of their mother being an old maid. LOL. I guess that's what I get for letting an Argentinian Gymnast give me a kiss on the cheek in front of my children. All hopes were dashed when I informed them that it was custom not romance. Either way, it certainly made me smile. The kiss made me smile too. It's not every day I get to meet an athletic cutie from Argentina AND get a kiss to boot. Rare, VERY rare!

Pearls Before Swine!

This past week has been a monster. Actually this whole month has been a battle. But this week in particular. I brought a friend of mine in to my home because she and her son have been bouncing from house to house for a year since she left her husband. Why did she leave? He was taking his paycheck and buying drugs with it. Leaving his family in a homeless state. After a year of running out of places to stay, she asked if she could come with me. It would be tight but I would never say no. After a month she asked if her husband could come too. I was reluctant but she assured me that he had been sober for 6 months and she wanted to give her marriage a chance and get her family together again. They hoped that gradually, with my help, they could get back on their feet again and start over. A good job was found for him within the first week of his arrival. He was very sweet and helpful around the house and for the past 3 months, it has been nice to have so many of the small maintenance things...

His Seal Upon My Heart

Image by Kelly's Creation, S ong of Solomon 8:6, Seal on My Heart Today's church service was an incredible entrance to a new day and new life. I arrived right on time and slipped up to the prayer room to pray alone. This time the Holy Spirit prompted me to lay totally prostrate and to pray (this is often why I like to pray alone, btw) As I did, I was lead to pray that the Holy Spirit would make us worthy to become HIS living sacrifice, acceptable and pleasing. I also prayed about surrender. I prayed that HE would anoint us with the ability to worship Him. The Lord answers His own prayers :). Also, today for the first time in a while, I was given a vision; while of course, I ended up on the floor again. The vision started with me feeling oil being poured on my forehead (a small fine line of oil across my head and moving up to my hairline). When it reached my hair line I felt a large hand rest on the top of my head. That is when I could see a TALL (over 6 ft) candle coming up fro...

A Gift

I bought a birthday gift for a friend today and had it delivered. Just 2 minutes ago I felt a stirring in my spirit. I KNEW they were receiving it, right at that moment. So I said a prayer of blessing over the gift and checked the fed ex tracking number. Sure enough it showed delivered at 2:22 and by 2:30 I sensed them opening it. Isn't that cool? The spirit world is amazing.

The weird ways God communicates with us.

Last Tuesday the assistant pastor of my church had a vision during our small group study that he said pertained to me. He saw a dove flying upside down with the branch in it's beak, just like what is depicted when the dove returns with a branch to Noah's ark. What is that suppose to mean? He also anointed me to interpret dreams and visions. He said this was one to get the ball rolling. Go figure. Why not something like... hmmm... oh never mind.. all visions and dreams are weird in my opinion.

Being Who We Really Are

A new friend sent me this picture yesterday. I printed it out and had a flood of emotion while looking at it. It is such a precious image. It's odd because, I just told a group of friends the other night that "I am just a baby". Someone spoke up and said.. "no you're not"; but I really felt like he didn't understand. The closer I come to knowing God the more I feel like a little infant. It's not the same as being immature. It's a matter of being TOTALLY dependent on Him and really not caring about impressing people any more. Life is teaching me that it does no good being too big for my britches all the time. In church, in worship, in my personal walk .. I always see myself as a baby with so much to learn. The more I learn the more I see that there is more to learn which leads me to further acknowledgment of my "smallness". This picture really lets me SEE, that the least of these is the greatest in the Kingdom. It's funny how totally...

Love Transfusion

Tonight in life group we were lead by the Spirit of God to pray for our church leaders and the church in general. The message was one of love. I realized that it is not only knowledge that puffs up. .but the gifts can do the same. But what is it all about really? Not how many gifts are revealed on a Sunday, although gifts ARE pretty awesome!.. but LOVE. To find the vein of Love coming from the Father and then pouring out a love transfusion to the world around us. I find that HIS presence humbles me, and His love lifts me up and leads me to not just cherish the ones I know, but the stranger in the seat a few rows away. True Revival, Eternal Revival, begins with Authentic Love. Authentic Love I fell on my face, bowing to the ground Why have I found favor in your eyes that you should notice me For you have comforted me and have spoken to the heart of your maidservant under Your wings I have come to take refuge! You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word Oh, how love You...

Concealed

Do not think that because you can see me that you see me. I am just as hidden as she is. Seeing is not really seeing. If only it were just a matter of outward appearance. Do you really believe you are seen as you appear? You are not and neither am I. Some days I do wish people could only see my eyes. I believe that would be more true.

These words changed my life 3 years ago and were the key to setting my daughter free

Who is this who comes up from the wilde rness leani ng upon her belov ed? Vivid Dream of things to come, wish I could get better at interpreting BEFOREhand, not just as afterthought

Last night I was given a very vivid dream. As I was walking with a closed black umbrella, passing my van, I noticed a Large Black Snake under my van. Instead of being afraid of the snake I tried to coax it out from under the van with my umbrella. The snake willingly came out and raised up to my height at the tip of my umbrella, straight in front of me and I grabbed hold of his neck. As I squeezed his neck I could feel the muscle shrink and go down to just thin skin. As I squeezed the snake began opening his mouth wider and wider until finally his mouth was completely at 180 degrees with his fangs pointing straight up. Though he struggled, I knew that I was not to let go until I was absolutely CERTAIN he was dead. So, unfortunately, that meant walking around with this snake in my hand. My son comes up to me and the snake and wants to see it. I was shocked that he came so close to it that the fangs poked him in the right temple and eyelid. He cried and the area began to swell; but I sti...

The wisdom behind the 3 little pigs.

I find often as I take my time with life by NOT getting a ton of credit cards (actually I don't even have one) and NOT getting a mortgage or a loan(except for my student loans.. ugh); that it takes ALOT more time to build a life that is worth even looking at. Though I have VERY LITTLE, I own everything I have. My bank account skims the surface and most people would be terrified to live off of the low balances I live off of. But when you pay cash for everything, it costs you NOW, not later and it shows. I find a certain piousness that comes from people who have what they consider as "wealth". I have been on the down side of many noses. You don't know how often I hear, "why don't you just charge it?" When I say I don't have a credit card they look at me as though I have leprosy. Oh well. Or, "with what you make, why don't you live in a better house or drive a better car?" (YES SOMEONE has actually asked me that!) My answer, I will have th...

Finally, time to talk about Ike

This is a post of what the rain looked like on the ranch during Ike. It's not as fierce on camera, but live and in person you could actually hear the crackling sound of trees falling during the night. Overall, it was a memorable experience. I was surprised by the damage though. I had NO IDEA in my safe little spot in the country what the rest of Houston was going through. After the power was out and the generators were going. It became apparent that someone would have to find an open gas station soon. After a few phone calls, I found a friend with the internet and he scouted out Bryan College Station to be the closest place to find gas. The next hot spot was Huntsville. I took a picture of the 4 rows of cars going to and beyond the feeder road in front of Walmart, waiting to fill up. I was very happy to be in the country. I had heard stories of fist fights downtown for gas. Not sure if that was just rumor, but I was happy to be around good people. Everyone I saw during this time we...

In my Treasure Box

Last Sunday I had the honor to listen to Lance Wallnau at Arise Church in Austin. After his lecture he invited us all in to corporate "soaking"; it's the first time I have ever seen a church wide invitation. As he played behind the piano, he had us follow a mental imagery of walking down a pathway with grass and flowers, who's faces would follow us as we walked; emitting their fragrance as a gift. He had us come upon a gray treasure chest guarded by angels. We were each to open our own chests and see what was inside than pick something out of it. After the exercise we were to share with another person what we pulled out. I saw many jewels in mine, things like gold coins and diamond necklaces and gold arm bands and strings of pearls. But what I reached in for was a snail shell . It was round with many tight swirls and was orange and cream colored. This is the closest image I could find online: The snail had delicate, black, laced chords that connected to make a choker...

The Deluxe Life!

This morning Caleb was in line to catch the school bus. He was the last one in line. Just as he was almost to the bus, he did something I will NEVER, EVER forget as long as I live. He ran back in to my arms and gave me a kiss (in PUBLIC!!) and told me he loved me. A mighty big deal for a little man. I am honored!

Kingdom Economic Summit 2008

This weekend I went to Austin for a Kingdom Economics Summit . It was HUGE and God guided me there for the blessing. The summit itself was suppose to be $500 to get in. My friend, Valerie and I went Friday night to the evening session for free; then went the next morning to see if there were scholarships or any way to get in to see the sessions. They said if we were to volunteer we could watch a session for $20. We were game for at least that. So we picked our session and I asked if we could step in during their worship time and worship until they decided what position to put us in. In the middle of worship the volunteer coordinator pulled us aside and told us that our "JOB" would be to sit in on ALL the sessions for FREE and open and close the doors for the people as they entered and exited the conference room. WE WERE AMAZED!!! We received the prayers, impartations, and secrets of the kingdom from some of the most highest ranking generals in our Kingdom today; as we stayed ...

A promise in my dream

Leviticus 26:18 "And if none of this works in getting your attention, I'll discipline you seven times over for your sins. I'll break your strong pride: I'll make the skies above you like a sheet of tin and the ground under you like cast iron. No matter how hard you work, nothing will come of it: No crops out of the ground, no fruit off the trees. I had a dream last night that a man with sharp pointy teeth (his name was "the carnivore") was stalking me and threatening to come after my children. When he disguised himself and came up to the door of my home I would not let him in. He began to unlock my door from the outside in. And move the hinges up to pry the door off it's hinges. But my husband (my dream spouse :)) went to the kitchen to get a cast iron skillet to knock the stalker out. The stalker got the door open and I headed for the house alarm. Then I woke up. Today I wondered about the cast iron skillet, the significance of it. I believe my husband ...

The Connection Between Time and Eternity

Has anyone ever bothered to think it through? OR better yet, ask God about it? As I sat soaking one night a year and a half ago, I closed my eyes and wondered... why time? What is it's purpose, why was it created, what does it do, what does it look like? I thought about it not even realizing that I was praying to GOD about it. Then suddenly in a matter of a MICRO second.. I experienced something that no word can describe except for download. I saw an object suspended in nothing. It looked like a thin dark branch suspended. I asked, "What is that?" I heard, "time". Time from the vantage of NON time is a solid object that can be seen from one point to the other. Then it dawned on me>>>>> time is done. it's complete. EVERYONE who has, is and will be born is already born and has already died (or stopped existing in time - Enoch, Elijah, maybe John). TIME is done. From the MOMENT the first foundation of time was set, an ending point was instantly t...

An Incredible Article!!!

David Van Koevering: "Keys to Taking Your Quantum Leap" Years ago, as a young scientist and inventor, I worked with Dr. Bob Moog and together we gave the music world the first performance keyboards called Moog synthesizers. I learned to work with electrons and photons - tiny elements that are so small they can't be seen! Yet these invisible elements cause all electronic devices to work. This project caused me to ask the question, "Is there more to our universe than what I can perceive through my senses?" My search to learn more about physical reality and how it works led me to discover that quantum physics identifies a large part of our universe to be non-physical. I began to realize that the universe is greater than science has discovered, or can explain. Through quantum physics and spiritual revelation, the Holy Spirit confirmed keys to understanding physical reality. As you read this article, allow the Holy Spirit to let you hear more than I say. There is...
