Last Tuesday the assistant pastor of my church had a vision during our small group study that he said pertained to me. He saw a dove flying upside down with the branch in it's beak, just like what is depicted when the dove returns with a branch to Noah's ark.
What is that suppose to mean?
He also anointed me to interpret dreams and visions. He said this was one to get the ball rolling.
Go figure. Why not something like... hmmm... oh never mind.. all visions and dreams are weird in my opinion.

In the Bible it was a dove released from the Ark by Noah which returned with an olive branch to show that the Biblical flood was over. Ever since, the dove has symbolised deliverance and God’s forgiveness.
According to legend the devil and witches can turn themselves into any bird shape except the dove.
In ancient Japan the dove was sacred to Hackiman the god of war, but it was a dove with a sword which announced the end to war.
The dove is associated with hope, peace and purity. It has become popular to release white doves at weddings to symbolize prosperity, fidelity and a happy home life. Doves are sometimes viewed as a triumph of life over death.
The thing is, when he first told me what he saw, the verse came to mind about how Jesus' Disciples were turning the world upside down (Acts 17:6). The thought of something demonic didn't even cross my mind!
I am sure when Peter requested that the cross that hung him be placed upside down, he was far from thinking it was demonic.
The Holy Spirit inside of me is designed to turn the world upside down; to defy the Laws of Nature; to bring peace and promise when people are at the very edge of giving up. The Vision described my calling.
The key came when I called my friend and asked him EXACTLY what he saw and felt during the vision. He said the feeling was positive and that the dove was NOT inverted .. rather, it was going against the law of physics and flying upside down in order to bring me the olive branch. Then I understood.
