Sometimes getting answers means finding the right question.

During a time of Spiritual Solitude and Separation. I began to ask questions. It is odd, how difficult it is to ask a question. I found through much of my upbringing that questions are generally frowned upon. As a child they seem to annoy parents. As a kid in Sunday School, they seem to annoy Elders. As a student in class, they annoy teachers (when outside of the scope of text book answers). As a college student, they annoy professors (who expect you to receive all knowledge & perspective without challenge); who, at best, make you feel dumb for asking in the first place. So standing before God ... I am often left speechless and WAY too intimidated. But on this particular occasion, I decided to REALLY consider DEEPLY the question I have for Him and just ask it. So I meditated and focused all my attention on what is the ONE THING that seems to be hindering my progress in life. The conclusion was ...... ME. So I asked, "who am I?" To my surprise, the Spirit ...

2 by 2

Walking Alone; though 2 by 2; The lesson for me... may not be for you. Listening to music Feeling connected to ALL Yet no one to touch and no scent to enjoy This pungent life is what is given To those determined to live it. Not for Comfort, Nor for Happiness. But for the sheer WILL to complete what was started. The reward given .. simply that of KNOWING. Even if you are .... only ONE... Walking on By Mag.e.read.art

True Spiritual Elders are Discerned...not politically appointed or self proclaimed.

When someone has to tell me that they are an "elder" in the church... without question.... I see this. Children Pretending to be elders is: why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep... It is way past time for the grown ups to stop sitting back and being lazy and take charge of what God has given us.

Death of Free Speech & the Borg

Any Star Trek fans out there? As I watch Antifa "protests" and browse the news in search of the current state of our nation / world. I am seeing a pattern within the Progressive mindset that reminds me so much of the "Resistance is Futile" line of the Borg Mantra.... Pay attention and watch it all unfold. The Progressive Ideology of the Hive 1st) Service to Self is Life's Highest Goal. In other words, Personal Happiness is the Primary Goal in Life 2nd) Right and Wrong is det ermined by social groups and is relative to the times. - basically made up and subject to change. 3rd) The Most dominant (and Cruel) humans are appointed as leaders - Survival of the Fittest on Steroids. 4th) The Leaders / Elites should decide who is allowed to live and who must die. (before you roll your eyes.. think of abortion, infanticide, eugenics, and gerontocide) I am Grateful to be a part of the True Resistance. I am glad to fight against all 4 of these steps of "progres...

Diagnosing Social Dualism - The Oneness of the Human Race

I was reflecting on something today. Trying to understand some of the crueler parts of human nature. Why people want people to fail. How beauty intimidates. Although it can be appreciated from a distance. Beautiful is appreciated until it reminds a person that they are NOT as beautiful. Holiness is appreciated until it reminds people that they are NOT as holy. Intelligence is appreciated until it reminds people that they are NOT as intelligent. All the good things in life can be twisted and mis-perceived based on dualistic comparisons. If we can embrace oneness. Then we can see another's beauty as the manifestation of your own as a whole. We can see intelligence, not as individual, but collectively good. And we can see holiness (even Christ's holiness) as our own, not separate. The essence of salvation comes from our ability to accept and know what Jesus meant when He said, "  The glory that you have given me  I have given to them,  that they may be one ...

The Despised Sight of the Seer

In my attempt to push out all things fake, I have found myself pushing against a very prickly grain. Now ALL things religious appear like clouds without rain. Words that meant to carry hope, but are now simply fluff. What is real? What can we depend on? One another? So often not. How do I remain positive? When I have become positively convinced. That all of mankind has been Tranced. To move, act, think, speak and believe. According to a script that is given by the socially deceived. When so many hearts have been lost somewhere in the weave of an indistinguishable cloth. What was once meant to be Reality, is now just a truth that's been tossed. ***** Some days I think I should just see less.. and listen more ***** ~ HB Cher

Hierarchy or Equality? What does it matter?

I recently had a discussion with my husband concerning God's order and hierarchy. We discuss the equality of husband and wife. Of course, he believes that just as there is a hierarchy within the Trinity itself, that there is also a hierarchy within the marriage. I am, in no way, equal to him as my husband. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that becoming a wife meant that I am now a second class citizen to my OWN life! So, of course, I ask... does that mean I am inferior? because I am female? NO (I was so relieved to hear), apparently I am not inferior... he is just greater (just as the Father is greater than the Son). Therefore, I am to be subject to him and to obey him (just as Jesus did only what He saw the Father doing). What it boils down to is... he has the final say, and I must obey (even if I believe he is wrong - or going against natural law). I know many people go along with this, so why can't I just get with the flow? Some days it is unfortunate t...

Carnival

"Have I been blind have I been lost Inside myself and my own mind Hypnotized, mesmerized by what my eyes have seen?" - Carnival by Natalie Merchant I recently took a wonderful trip with my 26 year old daughter. She is, in many ways, the best of me and more. Spending 3 months with her, I found a very strong, faithful, generous, wise, and spirit filled young woman. Not to mention, the most aesthetically beautiful woman I have ever known.  During our 24 hr + car ride, she put "Carnival" on by Natalie Merchant and told me to LISTEN... REALLY LISTEN to the words. It took me quite a bit to focus. Something about music trances me out to see images and recall memories (I hardly ever actually hear the words). As I listened, I began to realize... I have lived these lyrics. I could feel and empathize deeply with the hypnosis of life. The false caricature that we cultivate in order to blend with society. I realized.. this is the song of the "woke".... writte...

YOUR SIN SEPARATED YOU FROM GOD!!! - What Hogwash.....

21  Once you were alienated from God and were enemies  in your YOUR minds  because of [ a ]  your evil behavior.   22  But now he has reconciled  you by Christ’s physical body  through death to present you  holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation —   23  if you continue  in your faith, established  and firm, and do not move from the hope  held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven,  and of which I, Paul, have become a servant. - Colossians 1:21-23 NIV And the debate begins! I have a wonderful husband. He is a great communicator. He has a brilliant, problem-solving, engineering mind. He loves to minister and tell people about Jesus Christ and the change that he brings to lives. All the great characteristics I admired and married. Nevertheless, we disagree often. Recently, he began to tell me that sin separated m...

"Truth sits on the edge of every lie and waits for those who dare to come near enough to snatch it" - HB Cher

Yes, Adam's one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ's one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. - Romans 5:18 NLT The Edge of Universalism ... Located on this edge are verses like this. Growing up in the Southern Baptist condition, I found this verse would stop me in my tracks. I would often ask, "Why is it that we ALL were punished for Adam & Eve's decision? - none of us had our own say so on this one catastrophic event". As a young girl, I found it terribly unfair, but decided it was one of the many things in life that I would have to live with. It wasn't until I was much older that the REST of the verse smacks me in the face. I literally think my Sunday School teacher only read us half that verse and made sure we KNEW what wretched sinners we all were. Now after really digesting the second half I am left just as perplexed as I was as a little girl. Why is it that Adam's sin brought do...

Sprinkler or River Walking

"When you love God in an intellectual way, you may feel a sense of joy; but it is like water propelled by a sprinkler: It goes up with great force, but it soon falls back to Earth. When we love God from our own Spirit, we see that it is like a river flowing to the sea. It is a river designed by the great Architect  of the universe. Love, which carries the will along with it, changes you entirely. This is the true rapture: to be wholly lost in God. This is what is called transformation " - Mdm. Jeanne Guyon I remember being plugged in to a program of Christian understanding. One in which there was a deliberate and real attempt to attain what is presumed to be unattainable. The mysterious idea of perfection. Once perfection was my goal, I found myself surrounded by so many mistakes. And the more I tried, the bigger the mistakes became. Now my perception of the word perfect has completely changed. This has helped tremendously in my spiritual walk and transition from Intellectual...
