So often I find, the most difficult obstacles to overcome are the ones that are self imposed. The ones that tell you that you are less than who you truly are; or, that you are not capable of going past a certain point. This is because of the perception of others who have voiced their opinions in your life for so long, that you begin to believe them over your own true potential. I can not even begin to overemphasis the importance of who you allow to be in your inner circle of influence; however, I do understand that often the "who" is not a matter of choice. Many times, our harshest critics are with in our own families. There is a verse in the bible that says, " Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor ."
