Tonight in life group we were lead by the Spirit of God to pray for our church leaders and the church in general. The message was one of love. I realized that it is not only knowledge that puffs up. .but the gifts can do the same. But what is it all about really? Not how many gifts are revealed on a Sunday, although gifts ARE pretty awesome!.. but LOVE. To find the vein of Love coming from the Father and then pouring out a love transfusion to the world around us. I find that HIS presence humbles me, and His love lifts me up and leads me to not just cherish the ones I know, but the stranger in the seat a few rows away. True Revival, Eternal Revival, begins with Authentic Love.

Authentic Love
I fell on my face, bowing to the ground
Why have I found favor in your eyes that you should notice me
For you have comforted me
and have spoken to the heart of your maidservant
under Your wings I have come to take refuge!
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word
Oh, how love Your law! It is my meditation all the day
How sweet are Your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth
I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right and righteous,
and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me
It is good for me that I have been afflicted,
that I might learn Your statutes
Before I was afflicted I went astray,
but now Your word do I keep
hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it
Unless Your law had been my delight,
I would have perished in my affliction
I will never forget Your precepts,
how can I?
for it is by them You have quickened me
& granted me life
I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great spoil
I am only a little rose or autumn crocus of the plain of Sharon,
or a humble lily of the valleys that grows in deep and difficult places
Under Your shadow I delighted to sit
and your fruit is sweet to my taste
Your banner over me is love
for love waves as a protecting and comforting banner
over my head when I am near You
