Never Felt Comfortable on Bandwagons

The problem with gas prices is not a matter of gas company greed. The value of the dollar has gone down significantly with the interest rates being forced so low and the mortgage issues. It really has many who use our currency in foreign countries in a panic (including my dad in Costa Rica). In order for the price of the oil barrel to maintain it's value.. it is taking MORE U.S. dollars to keep the value of oil at the same price as if they were charging by another currency (France, England & Germany).

The US Dollar is becoming more and more worthless by the day. It's a crisis that everyone is so distracted by the symptom that no one is looking at the root of the problem. Our economy is in a scary place right now. Everyone is avoiding the truth and hopping on this bandwagon and blaming oil companies. Its misleading.

The oil companies can't help that our dollar is worth LESS now.. and it is taking more of it to pay for oil. It really is too bad that everyone is avoiding the elephant in the room to chase the mouse.

It managed to slither away to safety but would have surely died if a benevolent man had not seen it suffering by the side of the road.
