Developmental Divinity

Part of human development is being able to step outside of yourself and see what you are actually doing with your life. In which you discover you are overseeing the DEVELOPMENT of a Human Being.

I suppose the real question is whether human effort is required at all to become a human being? Must we ACTIVELY develop a human existence or is it a PASSIVE exercise set by our DNA as residence of this planet?

If effort is involved, I wonder what I would become if I stopped the work all together? Will I stand there like an abandoned building or an empty field? A dream /vision that was laid down and never picked up again? What does that look like in human form? Perhaps that is what it is to be a socio-path? Is that the root of all mental illness in general? Is it an abandoned building? Or the unkept field of the human mind? A potential reality given up on... or lost?

That would mean these conditions are not truly human at all; rather a sub-human mutation that aborted the flow of life. If abandoned human development is a sub-human ailment ... then it would take an original being to cure it, I suppose.

Maybe that's where we come in.... because we no longer consider ourselves merely human; but, a restored original being. In my effort to develop as a spiritual human being, I overshot the goal a bit and found myself intertwined with someONE all together greater. It is in this intertwining that my original DNA was restored, along with its innocence.

From this place of merging I found human & spiritual development to become a byproduct to Developmental Divinity.

This is a state of being that continues to live on beyond the human flesh. It reaches into the invisible dark matter that surrounds us and makes shapes where there was nothing before. The creative power of Developmental Divinity (DevDiv) supersedes that of human imaginations.

DevDiv puts a garden within the abandoned field and says to eat freely of all that is there. But one. That one will destroy your hopes and dreams and suppress your reality.  That one will make NOW disappear.

There is not a suitable word for the one. But for the sake of trying to understand we will call it the reflected echo (an inverse wave per say). Once this Echo is eaten ...you have swallowed a lie. Once this Echo is eaten you will be full without having any kind of true sustenance.

Your mind will be full of an illusion, a reality that doesn't exist. You will be starved for the real truth all around you but not capable of feeding yourself.

Because Echo is a mere reflection of a true, direct, original source. Groping for it feels like substance, the vibrations seem very real, but it is only waves that will diminish with time. Don't eat that one.

Rather, learn to recognize it.

However once PINGED by the direct source your DNA will be changed. You truly are no longer functional within illusionary worlds after that. At least not in the capacity of the echo eaters. You learn how to master the Illusion while simultaneously feeding from the substance of the real garden around you.

You will be strong while others are weak. You will have knowledge when others are unaware. You will be free when others are bound. You will see beyond the limit of reflective sight. But you WILL feel a sense of  loneliness and unrelatability.

The temptation will come to swallow the Echo and join the others. You will want so much to be like the them because of the loneliness. For what fellowship can you have with those who cannot see the garden that you  see? Who can not taste the pleasure of truth? Who don't even believe it exist?

While everyone is obsessed with the vibrations of the echo that repeat and repeat. How can you convince them that there is something even greater that never fades?

They truly need to hear the Source for themselves. It is the only way. But how will they hear? How will they see? How will they know?

Who will abandon the illusion that they have invested their entire identity in to? Who will be willing to abandon their comfort? Who will die to their own delusions? Some WILL... IF they hear.

What can cause a man to finally hear the background sound that has always been there? What can cause a fish to finally feel the water? What can break through the barrier of familiarity and desensitization?

CURIOSITY....

The next time you walk beside a human ask them... "Did you hear that?""Did you see that?"  This causes them to stop and listen/look. And wait. His PING is always there... even amplified by your presence. Wait. Listen. Look. Make this a common exercise and believe in what can happen.

Truly I tell you if you try to force it, disillusionment will come. If you use your mind to describe the garden, the ping, or its Source. Then many will create the vision in their own minds merely based on description. They will not truly believe it's there. The human imagination is profound and powerful. And also very frivolous. They will entertain the thoughts, create a false reality, make up their own rules, and create another game for their egos to play. An illusion within a delusion is all they will have. Thus the form of godliness is manifested.

Walk on my friend. Create the atmosphere of curiosity. Let the ears and hearts be pricked by the Ping of Eternal existence. There is no need to explain yourself. And walk on.

As you do so... embrace your own peculiarity. Be joyful at being misunderstood. Have comfort in being undervalued.

Remember... that to the blind, the one eyed man is king. So let them bow to the tunnel vision that leads down a three dimensional track; while you enjoy the journey of 6th dimensional realities.

The Parable of the Snake

Once upon a time there was a serpent who was badly injured in a fight with another animal. It managed to slither away to safety but would have surely died if a benevolent man had not seen it suffering by the side of the road. The goodly man carefully wrapped the snake up and took it to his house, where he bestowed the kindest and gentlest care on the snake until it was healed and could return to the wild. Just as the man was releasing the serpent back into the grass, the ungrateful snake turned and bit him on the hand. "What did you do that for?" cried the man, who knew that the bite of this particular snake was usually fatal. "Didn't I take care of you when no one else would?" The snake shrugged (no small feat for a snake!) and replied to the benevolent--and now doomed-- man, "What did you expect? You knew I was a snake when you picked me up." We certainly know without any question that they are snakes. Time will tell if the moral of the tale is appli...

Tough Mind and Tender Heart by Martin Luther King

SERMON: A Tough Mind And A Tender Heart, by Martin Luther King, Jr. Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (Matthew 10:16) A French philosopher said, “No man is strong unless he bears within his character antitheses strongly marked.” The strong man holds in a living blend strongly marked opposites. Not ordinarily do men achieve this balance of opposites. The idealists are not usually realistic, and the realists are not usually idealistic. The militant are not generally known to be passive, nor the passive to be militant. Seldom are the humble self-assertive, or the self-assertive humble. But life at its best is a creative synthesis of opposites in fruitful harmony. The philosopher Hegel said that truth is found neither in the thesis nor the antithesis, but in an emergent synthesis that reconciles the two. Jesus recognized the need for blending opposites. He knew that his disciples would face a difficult and hostile world, where they would confront the recalcitrance of...

AS I SEEK

By Cherstin Jagger Mendez I seek within the ebb and flow, In every attempt for my heart to grow. I lean into the winds to see what they say. Hoping it’s secrets, it will give away. How do you live a life to the fullest? How do you push yourself beyond….? The lead weights on my feet telling me I can’t go, Due to my age or life, without much to show. For the potential within me fights every day to get out! For the voice in my heart says I can not do without … Without the land beneath my feet, Without the sound of the trees in the wind. Without the buds that bloom and tell me there’s hope, Without the love that flows from beyond my scope. Without the connection that reminds me that I’m alive, Without your heartbeat here by my side I seek again for what I cannot see. I seek again for what’s found inside of me. I seek again for the strength to persevere, As I walk among those that this world does fear …. DEDICATED TO TDCJ CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS
